When you have a household with different tastes, there’s nothing better and easier than letting everyone eat buffet style while still keeping one meal on the table.
My kids don’t like ALL vegetables so that was out of the question. And the taco shells are not chips according to them (of course).
And others might just want the vegetables which it was actually a beautiful salad as just that a side salad instead of a topping for the taco.
The beauty of tacos is that you can put whatever you like. My picture above has white rice, black beans, mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, chicken pieces cooked in taco seasoning, salad greens, sour cream and the taco shells.
By the way, I had seconds. π
Have a fantastic day.

Great idea! I’m an all in kind of topping person- I always dump everything possible on top. I know family members do not always feel the same! Thanks for sharing at the link up today!

It was the intention, but I’m sure the additional servings didn’t quiet help. π

That’s how I do chicken tacos as well. I prefer mine all mixed together as a salad, and then I have household members who prefer crispy shells and those that like soft corn tortillas. Everyone can have their favorite.
