Eating my way thru Boston, MA

I know this post comes way after the fact. I got the opportunity to visit Boston for the first time with my mother over Labor Day weekend. And finally got around browsing the many pictures I took of the amazing food we got to eat. Enjoy!

My first meal was a New England Clam Chowder Bread Bowl from the Boston Chowda. It was so good!

We had to make a stop at J.P. Licks ice cream. Doesn’t that ice cream look delish?

Having dinner at Panza Restaurant in North End was amazing. We got lucky for not having reservations!

After dinner at Panza Restaurant we had to stop at Mike’s Pastry for dessert. The line was out the door and around the corner when we got there. But even with that, it moved very fast. I was impressed!

We made our way to Chinatown one day and had some Chinese food for lunch/dinner. They served a lot of food.

A day is not complete without having a banana split with mom from Ghirardelli at Faneuil Hall Marketplace. Our first one together was on our trip to Chicago back in 2011. This was heaven!

One of the oldest places in Boston, the Bell In Hand Tavern, had some really good food. And I had to try the lobster roll before leaving Boston. Their version was really good.

I can’t wait to return to Boston and try other places to eat.
Thanks for joining me and I hope you enjoyed the pictures as much as I enjoyed the food and spending time with mom.

Hugs,

Ili 🙂
