My last minute visit to Panama couldn’t be complete without getting my childhood snack “raspao”. It hasn’t changed over the years. You can still get the traditional flavors (cherry, grape, and lemon). You can find them mainly at parks on a beautiful sunny day.
On second thought, what has changed is the price! It used to cost $0.25 and now it’s over $1.00. Of course that didn’t stop us from indulging on our childhood favorite refreshment.
