H&H Restaurant

Happy Father’s Day to my dear husband. A visit to Macon, GA at the last minute was so fitting to celebrate him and the wonderful man and father he is to our kids.

We visited the Allman Brothers Museum (The Big House), listened to great music by the Marcus King Band and left with full and grateful tummies when we stopped for breakfast at the H&H Restaurant

As soon as you walk into this place you feel at home. More like enjoying a picnic with a bunch of strangers in a familiar place. A place full of music history and  love.

Gabe about to enjoy some soul food.

History on the walls

I’ve never had biscuits like these. The BEST hands down.

“Don’t stop when you’re tired. Stop when you’re done”.

Macon we leave you for now. But we take you with us.

I have always loved the Allman Brothers Band, so this VERY special storyline and connection to H&H Restaurant and Mama Louise and Inez Hill is wonderful. I love to learn about historical places in all various locations. H&H has a super legacy in Macon. The photos shared are terrific!! Mama Louise and Inez Hill sound like very special ladies and I am happy that they could share their love through food with others.
