Cookies and Cream Homemade Ice Cream

It’s the season to be making and eating all sorts of delicious stuff. After all, you’ve worked hard all year by going to the gym and working out as you promised during your New Year’s resolution for 2017…Right?

Okay I’m not judging. Maybe you did keep your promise. Maybe something happened along the way. What’s important is to remain true to yourself. To me it boils down to baking/cooking for others. I truly enjoy it.

How about we now enjoy a homemade cookies and cream ice cream (no machine needed)?

Cookies and Cream Ice Cream

  • Servings: 1 (if you're selfish)
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Print

Ingredients:
1 quart heavy whipping cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 can condensed milk (8 ounce)
1 package of Oreo cookies

Preparation:
1-Place Oreo cookies in a Ziploc bag and smash to desired size. I like to leave them a little chunky. Set aside.
2-Beat the whipping cream on high until it thickens.
3-Add condensed milk and vanilla extract. Beat until well combined.
4-Add Oreo cookies and fold until combined.
5-Distribute on quart size containers. You might need 2 of them.
6-Freeze for at least 4 hours.

Enjoy, Bon Appétit, Buen Provecho!                                                               EdibleReflections.com
