Sweetwater Valley Farm

While my parents were in town we did a short road trip to Philadelphia, TN to visit Sweetwater Valley Farm. From Nashville, it’s about 2 hours 45 minute drive. This is doable with 2 young kids.

Cheese!

Cheese!

...more cheese!

…more cheese!

I was tempted, but didn't get it

I had never been at a cheese farm before so this was truly an adventure. My daughter was delighted to see cows and eat the sample cheese.

I ate so much cheese I could’ve been called a cow myself. Nonetheless, it was the most delicious cheese I’ve ever had. The only thing that was missing was wine! 🙂

Besides the cheese they also promoted local area jams and jellies. The Mango Pepper certainly caught my eye since I did the mango cupcake just a few days ago.

Sweetwater Valley Farm - such a pretty view.

Being out in the open space, in a farm was so refreshing. It felt like I was breathing pure air. I felt warm, cozy, and grateful all at the same time.

This place is another one that shows us that there is plenty to see just a few miles away from home. It’s all about having the willingness to explore and expand our view about the world.

Until the next trip! 🙂
