Need ideas for Thanksgiving? How about something for your guests or to take over if you are the guest.
Nothing like something personalized to show someone that you are thankful for having them in your life.

I call them yum jars because they pack just the right amount of yummy in a mason jar. Also they are perfect to give away with a personal message. 

Pie Ingredients:

1 15-ounce can pumpkin purée
1/3 cup of sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice
2 eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
3/4 cup evaporated milk

Crust Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups graham-cracker crumbs
6 tablespoons of unsalted butter, melted an cooled
3 tablespoons of sugar

Whipped Cream Ingredients

1 1/2 cups of chilled heavy cream
2 tablespoons of sugar

Preparation:

1- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
2- Lightly spray each mason jar with baking cooking spray. You will need about right 8-ounce mason jars.
3- In a medium bowl mix graham-cracker crumbs, butter and sugar.
4- Place about 2 teaspoons of cracker mixture into jars and pat down.
5- Bake in the oven for 5 minutes.
6- Cool mason jars in ire rack to cool while preparing pie filling.
7- Lower oven temperature to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
8- In a medium bowl, combine pumpkin, sugar, and pie spice.
9- Add eggs and vanilla. Beat lightly until combined.
10-Gradually stir in the evaporated milk.
11-Pour mixture into mason jars making sure to leave room for whipped cream.
12-Bake for 30 minutes or until center appears set when gently shaken. Cool for an hour in wire rack. over and chill for at least two hours before serving.
13-Shortly before serving, combine cream and two tablespoons sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a whisk attachment. Whisk on medium speed until soft peaks form, 2 to 3 minutes.
14-Add whipped cream to your pies and serve immediately.
