Easy Apple Pie


I was in a pinch and needed to make something quick and delicious.

2 9-inch pre-made pie crust (defrosted)
5 medium-size Granny Smith apples (cut in cubes)
1 tablespoon of flour
4 tablespoons of sugar
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of ginger
1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg

1-Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
2-Lay out the first pie shell on the baking pan. Poke holes with a fork.
3-In a medium bowl, prepare the filling by combining cut apple pieces with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and flour.
4-Place apple mixture in the pie dish and cover with second pie shell.
5-Make 4 small cuts on the top crust to allow the heat to vent.
6-Bake for 25 minutes. Let it cool completely.
