Mango Limeade

Mom brought 2 mangos from Florida so I went on Pinterest in search of a recipe. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to bake it or eat it as part of a meal.

The Mango Lemonade recipe from foodiesmisadventures.com caught my eye and I had to try it. I pinned it to my “Recipes I want to try” board. My version is below. 😄

Ingredients:

2 mangos
1/3 cup of sugar
1 cup of limes
3 cups of water, divided

Preparation:

1- In a saucepan add 1 cup of water and sugar. Heat until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat.
2- Cut the mangos and blend until smooth.
3- Get 1 cup of fresh lime juice. I used about 5-7 limes.
4- In a large pitcher combine sugar mixture, mango, lime juice and remaining 2 cups of water.
5- You may want to add more sugar. I truly didn’t need it. The mangos were sweet enough for my taste.
6- Serve with ice and/or chill in the refrigerator until ready to drink.

This was yummy. I’ll be making more of it this Summer.

Enjoy!
