In this age of social media, we hear the word connect more often, don’t we? Connect with us on Facebook! Connect with me on LinkedIn! Given what today’s technologies can do, it feels like the world is getting smaller, and we’re more connected than ever before.

There are many ways to interpret this theme: from a gadget to a handshake, from a bridge to a gathering among friends. What’s yours?

I connect with paper. Yes, I’m still old-fashioned on some stuff. I love reading magazines. I like to turn the page, fold it on my favorite recipes or tips and carry it around on my purse. I love the fact that I don’t have to rely on WiFi service or whether I’m using up my data allowance. See? Printed media still have many benefits. 😉

So now I’m enjoying my Good Housekeeping magazine and can’t wait to try some of the holiday recipes. So stay tuned because I’ll be posting some delicious pictures in the coming days.

Hint: I have a pumpkin cheesecake in the oven right now! So the recipe and pictures will be coming soon.
