My sweet boy turned 3 yesterday. And with the ice storm that we’ve experienced this week, I wanted to make his day a bit special by making a little cake for him.
It’s not the prettiest cake. I’m the first to admit that I could use some cake decorating classes.
But as they say, it’s the effort that counts. Plus even if I wanted to I couldn’t get to the store to buy him a cake. 🙂
There were some technical difficulties, but it wasn’t lacking flavor for sure. Everyone finished their slice!
I’m proud of my little one. He has grown so much and so fast. If only I could pause time so I could enjoy him more at this very moment.
Mommy loves you and will bake as many cakes as you want. 🙂
Nice cake. Love the filling recipe the most. 🙂
