Happy National Brownie Day! I know I’m a little late baking these. To be honest I forgot all about it. 🙂
Nonetheless I was able to come up with this super easy brownie recipe. Even my one year old son made yummy sounds on the first bite. I haven’t laughed so hard!
Ingredients:
2 sticks of butter (1 cup)
2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup of dark cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 eggs (room temperature)
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup of chopped walnuts and pecans
Preparation:
1. Preheat the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Grease an 9×13 inch pan and set aside.
2. Melt the butter and let it cool for 5 minutes.
3. In an electric mixer place the melted butter and add each ingredient in the order listed and mix until well incorporated.
4. Pour the mixture into greased pan.
5. Bake for 20-30 minutes.
Note: check for firmness after 18 minutes. Mine were done after 21 minutes.
Enjoy, Bon Appetite, Buen Provecho!
Ain’t nothin’ better than a REALLY good brownie. One of the most satisfying, simple choco treats there is! These look moist and chewy, not cakey (all top features on my brownie hit list).
